Overall Purpose of the Job

Mainly dealing with specific accounts. But also helping with general air, road and sea imports.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Seeing Air, Sea & Road Import shipments all the way through from arrival to delivery, including invoicing.

Import of road freight consignment on the GVMS system.

Import of specific diversion entry from bonded warehouse and other procedures i.e. T.A.
Training will be given, where limited knowledge with these procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

2/3 years import customs experience preferred
Good working knowledge of import rules and regulations
Knowledge of import procedures and the CPC that have been changed after the introduction of the CDS System for customer entries
Good interaction with colleagues needed
Generally an all-round knowledge of import procedures
Full UK Drivers Licence
